2010 Annual Report Shows Another Year of Significant Growth!
Some highlights of our 2011 Public Library Survey and 2010 Annual Report:
A few comparisons to our 2009 report:
Total print volumes grew from 35,353 (2009) to 38,542 (2010) (10% increase)
Total non-print volumes grew from 1463 to 2232 (50%)
Total circulation grew from 108,236 to 141,239 (23%)
Library users (visits to the Library) grew from 71,250 to 78,370 (10%)
Program attendance grew from 3869 to 4182 (7%)
Total cardholders grew from 5048 to 6769 (33%) (Third straight year of substantial increases; cardholders numbered 1960 in 2007.)
Number of Library workstation (computer) users grew from 8500 to 9265 (8%)
User satisfaction survey: up 1 full point (out of 5) from 2009 in areas of Library collection, Information services, Library hours, and Overall satisfaction with Library
Library user comments: Overall positive; parking an obvious concern
